A peak on the lawn of ST. Nicolao and just a few meters from the Lake of the Water Lilies, overlooks the Alto Lario that is so visible from Dongo at the bridge over the step. It is said to "Papin", because this legendary scout leader from Milan, descended from the cliff on the lawn below, by means of a pulley supported by a supporting cable stretched between the cliff itself and the Ara of the Great Fire (now demolished). "Papin", Electromechanical engineer and geologist, had assumed the name of the inventor of the pressure cooker, for having built, adapting, a legendary 'pressure mess tin', which allowed him to also cook at high altitudes, and always more quickly than all the others!
